The Story of Fire & Ice

Reykjavík, Iceland | 3-6 Days Program

Iceland is a land built upon a powerful storytelling tradition that has helped the country become a leader in business, conservation, and gender equality. On this once-in-a-lifetime journey, you'll have the opportunity to explore the world of Fire & Ice, by air, by water, and by land, guided by the local storytellers of Iceland.

Revitalize yourself as you soak in the hot waters of the Blue Lagoon, soar above the volcanoes on a helicopter, and explore the countryside on an ATV. Climb the endless glaciers and experience the frozen walls of a waterfall, then warm up by a log fire and watch the Northern Lights dance above you as you learn about the myths and legends of the Vikings.

Explore the power of storytelling in both life and business and write your own story in the Land of Fire and Ice, as you connect with the people and stories that define Iceland’s unique culture and landscape.

UMI Hotel

Experience the peace and quiet of the Icelandic countryside at this family-run hotel that was designed and built by the Umi Family. The hotel manager, Siggi, spent every summer on a farm close to the hotel when he was a teenager, where he would help with the farm animals and the harvest. He continued to visit often with his own children and soon realized that they wanted others to enjoy the same peace and quiet of this area.

The hotel offers a first class restaurant with a unique view of the Westman Islands and the southern coastline, as well as a lounge bar with a view of the famous subglacial volcano Eyjafjallajökull and the beautiful mountain terrain surrounding it. The starlit skies and northern lights certainly won’t let anyone down over the winter months.
